washing wool and dyeing vegan fiber

Yesterday I washed 2 pounds of Romney and dyed some banana and bamboo fiber along with tencel and corn. My corn fiber didn't hold the dye to well even though I used Jacquard dyes with soda ash and followed the directions. I was rather dissappointed. A few days ago I spun some novelty yarn and set the twist it should be about ready to post in my store at tamarie.etsy.com

Well here we are getting ready for the fourth of July. I've added some new products to my tamarie.etsy.com and they are ready for the holiday, just waiting for you to make something fabulous. We have a red a white and a blue batt made with romney,shetland and natural dyes set with heat and vinegar. Next is White superwash Merino with lots of red and blue firestar to make your fourth of July project sparkle. I have spun some of this into yarn and I am setting the twist now and it will be at tamarie.etsy.com this weekend. I wish everyone a safe and colorful fourth of July.
